Trader Joe’s Everything but the Elote Seasoning is a blend of salt, chile pepper, cheese, and other spices. Read on to see if you should grab a jar!
If you’ve read about my 10 favorite products from Trader Joe’s, then you know that I love, love, LOVE their Organic Elote Corn Chip Dippers. So I’m sure you can imagine my joy when my beloved TJ’s came out with an elote seasoning blend. Now I can make everything taste like my favorite chips!
This seasoning blend did not disappoint. It tastes exactly like the Elote Corn Dippers, just without the chip. It is slightly sweet, slightly smoky, and 100% delicious. And at $2.49 for 2.3 ounces, this is a steal!
I tried it on a hard-boiled egg with a smidge of mayonnaise and it was sublime. This is also great on popcorn, chicken, roasted potatoes – really just about anything.

Nutrition Information for Everything but the Elote Seasoning
This seasoning blend has a good amount of sodium, with a 1/4 teaspoon serving size having 70 mg. So you probably won’t need to add much, if any, salt to whatever you use this on.

It also contains cheese, so if you are sensitive to dairy you’ll probably want to avoid this seasoning.
Like the chips, this seasoning blend has a significant amount of sugar. It’s the first ingredient in the ingredient list. You can definitely taste the sugar so keep that in mind when you’re thinking of things to use this on. It might also make this seasoning blend a no-go if you are keto or diabetic.
Like all Trader Joe’s products, this seasoning blend does not contain artificial flavors, preservatives, or colorings.
Verdict: Recommend!
I am already obsessed with this seasoning and am putting it on all the things. I have yet to find something this is not great on, though I haven’t put it in my coffee – yet.
